Easy Meal Prep Tips
Hello beauties! Today’s post is all about Easy Meal Prep Tips. Meal Prep is so important if you are serious about your health and fitness goals. If you prep your meals, you are less likely to “cheat” on your clean eating goals. It’s so easy, especially if you’re on the go. Additionally, filling your body with protein, vegetables, vitamins and antioxidants gives you more energy to work out. Finally, the right nutrients will help your hair and skin radiant natural beauty!
Easy Meal Prep Tips
Here’s an example of that I eat in a day:
BREAKFAST 2 eggs white, 2 corn tortillas
AM SNACK Protein shake with 2 fruits
LUNCH Meal Prep which includes lean protein, veggies and carbs
PM SNACK Protein Bar or nuts, with raw veggies like cucumbers with lemon
DINNER Veggies, Protein and carbs (I typically eat dinner after working out)
As you can see, I eat frequently to avoid cravings. Meal Prep is amazing because if you’re full of nutrient rich food, there is no room to be hungry and crave empty calories. That is my daily meal plan and it covers the necessary protein, fruits, vegetables, and carbs I need for the day. It doesn’t get redundant either. I change up the fruit I add to my shake. I pack different lunches and have different dinners daily. Meal prep does NOT have to be boring!

Learn to Eat Clean. Programs like the 21 Day Fix are amazing to help you calculate what you need to eat based on your goals. The 21 Day Fix even comes with portion sized containers to take the guess work out of measuring your meals!
If you don’t like cooking, try a meal prep company… for at least some of your meals. For example, I have used Bnutritious and My Fit Foods for my lunches. I cook breakfast and dinner, pack snacks and pack my meal prep lunches.
Try a meal tracking app. If you’re like me, you need visuals. I have used apps like My Fitness Pal to track my eating. Just to make sure I get my portions in.
Don’t plan too ahead. Food can go bad quickly. I prep for no more than 5 days at a time.
