Hello beauties! Today’s blog is full of Girls Night Out Makeup Tips. Whether you’re going dancing or to a girls dinner, here are tips from a beauty pro on how to look and feel your best for a girls night out.
Girls Night Out Makeup Tips
In the summer, I went on a business trip to Vegas. It lasted 3 days. During the trip, I turnt up with my co-workers. Then I stayed 2 more days to turn up with my cousins. And finally, my man met up with me while he was out there for a business trip, and we ended my Vegas trip with a romantic weekend. (Yes I did a whole week of Vegas, and it was amazing!)
How I did my makeup with my girls vs with my man varied drastically. I’ve written about boyfriend makeup tips before. As I always say, when you’re with your man, the more natural the better. The opposite is true when you’re with your girls! Girls night calls for the bold lip or dark eye or both. Yes, both. You can wear neutral eyes with a red lip, for example. Girls night can even call for glitter! Here are my favorite girls night out makeup tips.
One of the best girls night out makeup tips I can give you–start with your skin. Start the night right by doing a mini treatment at home. Detox with Dermalogica’s Charcoal Rescue Masque. It purifies, brightens, revitalizes, refines and calms. Perfect to prep your skin for a glow.
Save the tinted moisturizer for when you’re with your man. When you’re with your girls, have fun and pack it on! I personally love Stila’s Foundation. It comes with a brush. It comes with concealer and it’s buildable coverage. The best part? There’s no SPF! So it’s meant for night time, and for flash photography. No ghost face here.
I’ve said it before and I’ll say it again. Nudestix makes the best brow pencil. One side lines and defines. The other side is a gel so that your look stays on. No matter how much you get your dance on!
The Lorac Pro Palette is perfect to make a neutral smoeky eye (Kim K anyone) or a bold color. I keep this palette in my pro kit and can go from natural to drag and every look in between real quick!
I LOVE wispy textured lashes to create flirty depth. My favorites are from Eylure.
Get your contour on with Benefit’s Hoola Bronzer. Check out my tutorial here. For strobing, use NYX powder highlight. And follow me on Instagram to see pics of me strobing with NYX!
Go Bold. Go Melt! Melt Cosmetics stays on all night! Check out my review here.
