Long Beach Hair Show Review
Hello beauties! Today’s post is all about my experience at the Long Beach Hair Show. Although I am a makeup artist and skin therapist, I love to attend trade shows open to all professionals. This is the best way to stay updated with trends. After all, the beauty industry is constantly changing! Conventions, continuing education, product knowledge and technique all helps licensed professionals stay on top of your game. It is what helps us stand out against the competition! I’m so excited to share my experience with you all, for those of you who didn’t make it.
Long Beach Hair Show Experience
I walked through the entire show. There were so many platforms and stages with something going on. Haircut demos, hair color demos, blow dry demos the works! I even saw some extreme makeup.
I was on the look out for new trends but didn’t see anything quite new. Nonetheless, the floor was entertaining. I even saw a shirtless male model at the Marakesh booth.
The skin care skin was way more mellow. That shouldn’t come as a shocker! I think in the beauty industry, skin therapists tend to be much more reserved.
I did see super cool new trends on the skin care side too. For example, Cailyn (who I have blogged about before) had this new lip stain. I tested it on my hand. Let me tell you, I worked out after the show and that product was STILL on my hand. I’m so amazed. I need to buy it.
At the Long Beach Hair Show, I also bought Lash Food lash growth serum.
All in all, the show was alright. I managed to walk around the whole convention within an hour. A lot of my collegues agree that nothing popped out to us. Did any of you go to the show? I’d love to hear your experience in the comments.
Maybe next year we will see the next big thing. Until then, keep up my blogs to see what other events I share. Stay beautiful!
